This modern, first floor 2-bedroom apartment is in a truly amazing location. Your private north facing balcony overlooks quiet Keppel Street, yet you have all the action and conveniences of the famous and fashionable Lygon Street at your fingertips. Perhaps dine at one of the 100 plus cafes and restaurants in the area and then take a leisurely walk into the heart of Melbourne city, or jump on one of the Swanston Street trams just around the corner outside the University of Melbourne and travel to anywhere and everywhere for a day of sightseeing.
The apartment itself has polished floorboards throughout and two bedrooms, both with built-in wardrobes. It has a small kitchen with granite bench tops, glass splashback and stainless steel appliances including dishwasher, fridge/freezer, stove with oven and a microwave oven. The kitchen looks out to an open-plan living/dining room, which is stylishly furnished with a toughened glass 6-seater dining table & coffee table and a 2.5-seater sofa, which can convert to a sofa bed for a fifth person. The living room also contains a widescreen/flatscreen television and surround sound home theatre system. The central bathroom is fitted with a shower over bath, vanity unit & basin, toilet and laundry facilities, including washing machine and clothes dryer.
Other features include, secure intercom entrance and remote control access to one secure basement car parking space.
Internet is available at an Internet cafe at the end of the street.

Capri Elwood Enjoy the sophistication of overlooking Port Phillip Bay on a hot balmy night, relaxing on the spacious first floor deck or hosting a dinner party for 12. Capri is spacious 3 bedroom 2 bathroom apartment opposite the beach at Elwood, within 1km of St Kilda. Capri is on the first floor of an Art Deco building, surrounded by other heritage listed properties. The apartment is an older style, has comfortable furnishings and a fabulous balcony, complete with BBQ and dining setting for 6, overlooking the foreshore . The interior entertainment areas of Capri have polished floor boards whilst the bedrooms are carpeted. The walls are hung with original art work. The lounge room is very comfortable with lots of books and games, DVDs for guest's use, and large TV and DVD player. The dining area is extremely spacious and seats 12 comfortably. Fantastic for dinner parties! The kitchen is very well appointed with a 900cm free standing oven and 6 hotplates, separate fridge and freezer, great working surface, lots of cupboards plenty of crockery and all the expected appliances. The lounge room double doors open up to the main bedroom thus creating a luxurious space. The main and 2nd bedrooms have queen beds and the 3rd has 2 singles. There is a large main bathroom, older style, with shower over bath, and concealed laundry with washing machine and dryer. Bedrooms 2 and 3 share a 2nd smaller bathroom with shower and vanity and there is also a 2nd separate toilet off bedroom 3. Sailing, windsurfing, kite boarding, cycling swimming, volleyballing and people watching are just some of many sports activites that are available to you when you stay at Capri. Be engaged at the Arts Centre and it's many shows, shop til you drop in the city or Chapel Street or enjoy the races. All these activities are just a tram ride away.
